Lordenshaws Rock Art

The carved rock at Lordenshaws is a gentle walk from the car park at Simonside near Rothbury (about 15-20 mins drive from Alnwick).
Close by is an iron age hillfort settlement(about 2.5K yrs old).

  1. i like the 'path' that begins in the rock & continues raised as it leads away from the rock. there's an amazing amount of geography in England.
