The Alnwick Garden in April 2009

The Alnwick Garden lies to the outskirts of Alnwick Town and adjoining Alnwick Castle. Created about 10 years ago the gardens are still in continual development and are open all year.

At the entrance is the Tree House (a restaurant).

Entry to the gardens is via a cafe pavillion.

The water cascade and fountains form the focal features.

Towards the top is the entrance to the Ornamental Gardens.
